Conductivity, Calibration and Low Level Verification Standards
Aqueous Conductivity is a key parameter used in the production of Ultrapure Water (UPW) and Water Injection (WFI) in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science Industries. At Altus Science, our independence, together with our rigorous Quality Management System, allows us to manufacture unbiased Aqueous Conductivity standards of the highest quality. This gives you an accurate record of instrument performance, regardless of which meter you use.
Low Level Conductivity Standards
- We manufacture low level verification standards, starting as low as 1.3μs/cm. These help to give complete confidence that your conductivity sensor is performing as it should do, close to the true conductivity value of your PW, UPW or WFI.
- Our low-level conductivity standards are available in a range of container volumes to suit your application, including single use, 30ml containers. They are produced in an aqueous matrix, matched to the matrix of samples typically measured in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industries, helping to avoid matrix errors.
- Many conductivity standards are supplied in large, multiple use containers. The atmosphere contains nominally 400mg/L TIC from atmospheric carbon dioxide; problematic if conductivity standards/samples are exposed for prolonged periods of time, or if they are left in partially emptied containers between analysis. Single use standards help to eliminate measurement inaccuracies by minimising the exposure of the solution to the atmosphere. Our single use bottles are also suitable for use with a magnetic stirrer.
- Each individual standard is fully traceable to NIST and comes with its own certificate of analysis, accredited to ISO17034 and ISO17025.
- Covering all the calibration, validation and verification standards required to maintain compliance to USP Chapter 645, EP Chapter 2.2.38 and all other major pharmacopoeias.
